Our emphasis on character and teamwork is the key factor that sets Inis Cairde apart from other competitive Irish dance programs. We offer weekly World-level instruction, including quarterly workshops with visiting instructors from Ireland, and have earned many competitive accolades over the years:

 

• Multiple World and Nationals qualifiers at the Southern Region Oireachtas since the school’s inception in 1999

• Solo recalls at the World Championships

• Multiple recalls at the North American Championships, including a 75% solo recall rate in 2016

• Team titles in every 8H ceili age group at the Southern Region Oireachtas (U10, U12, U15, O15 and Adult Ladies)

• Multiple recalled teams at the World Championships in 2013 and 2015

• A second place finish in the Girls U16 Ceili at the 2014 North American Championships

 

In assessing the merits of a competitive program, while competitive accolades are important, of greater significance to us is our commitment to your dancer’s growth as a person through this exceptional sport. We are passionate not only about Irish dancing technique, but about helping our advanced dancers develop into confident, resilient adults who work constructively and compassionately with others, who mentor others gently and willingly, and who persevere through disappointment.

 

Your dancer’s time in competition is finite, but the sportsmanship, dedication and grace last forever.
